“I'm 53 years old, and I've
been through over 20
programs in my lifetime. This
is the one that saved my life.”

In the United States today, one in four adults suffers from a diagnosable mental health condition, while another 20 million people experienced a substance-use disorder in 2020 alone.

Across Massachusetts, unnecessary homelessness, family separation, poor health and soaring healthcare costs are all too common – not to mention the daily loss of life when residents of our State die of opioid overdoses.

VOAMASS believes the challenges created when people lack access to treatment and behavioral health services is unacceptable, and we’re doing our best to address it. We realize that the greatest opportunity to impact change requires us to be on the front lines, meeting people where they’re at.
