Veteran Request for a Referral
Volunteers of America Veterans and Family Outreach Program helps veterans improve and sustain their overall Health and Wellness, strive to reach their full potential, and live a self-directed life by offering and ensuring access to services.
Specific Outreach services vary by region and include access to:
- Housing Supports including housing search and rent assistance or residency in the Mass Bay
- Veteran Center
- Behavioral Health care
- Physical health services
- Benefits assistance
- Food
- Clothing
- Transportation Assistance (including automotive repairs, license reinstatement fees)
- Employment support/education and training assistance
- Access to recreational pastimes that will improve mental and physical wellbeing
Eligibility
All applicants need prior military service or service in the Massachusetts National Guard. Total time served, era of service, and character of discharge may vary the amount of assistance the outreach workers can provide. Also, certain resources can be used for family members of veterans. We encourage all past military or National Guard members to apply for Veteran and Family Outreach Services Program assistance, and our outreach staff will work with you to determine what we can help with.You have two options for completing the form:
