2025 VOA National Conference: Learning, Connecting, and Celebrating Leadership
VOAMASS at the 2025 VOA National Conference: Learning, Connecting, and Celebrating Leadership
Earlier this June, members of the VOAMASS team had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2025 Volunteers of America National Conference in Indiana. It was a powerful gathering of VOA affiliates from across the country, all working toward a shared mission of service, dignity, and hope.
Over several days, our staff engaged in dynamic trainings, presentations, and peer exchanges. They return with fresh ideas, valuable resources, and renewed energy for the work ahead. From innovative service models to community-based strategies, the conference was a chance to learn, connect, and grow alongside leaders and changemakers from across the VOA network.
One of the most meaningful moments came when our very own Samantha Ball was ordained as a minister through Volunteers of America during the conference, a true honor and a reflection of her deep commitment to faith-based service and leadership. Congratulations, Samantha!
Bringing this inspiration home, our team is more motivated than ever to apply what they’ve learned and continue strengthening the support we offer here in Massachusetts. We’re proud to be part of a national movement, and even prouder of the passionate people leading the way at VOAMASS.
