VOA celebrates 130 years of service!
VOA affiliates across the country celebrate 130 years of good.
When Volunteers of America was founded in 1896, “volunteer” meant anyone who served others as a vocation through a commitment to a mission. Flash forward 130 years, and Volunteers of America affiliates are now staffed by over 16,000 dedicated individuals who carry out the same mission. We are proud to be part of the network and change for good.
