John Griffin

John joined VOAMASS in 2017 after long tenures at both the Massachusetts Respiratory Hospital and Shields MRI. John is responsible for day-to-day management of VOAMASS’ eight properties, including five residential programs, two outpatient clinics, and our Jamaica Plain headquarters.

John has deep expertise in all aspects of property management, including creating and monitoring property budgets, scheduling and managing routine maintenance on all systems, mitigating risk and overseeing safety and security, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He also oversees all contractors, guides long-range planning to support future growth, and leads the facilities team to ensure safe, secure, and well-functioning buildings.

John also serves as the face of VOAMASS at many community and neighborhood meetings, ensuring strong relationships with neighbors and local officials.
