Gayle Lacroix, CPA
Gayle joined VOAMASS as the organization’s chief financial officer in 2021, bringing years of financial experience in affordable housing and real estate development and a mission-driven mindset to the organization. As CFO she is responsible for the overall financial health and growth of the organization.
In addition, Gayle is currently a member of the CFO Working Group for Strength Matters, the nonprofit affordable housing industry’s go-to information network for financial learning. In this role she has developed financial white papers on best practices and leads classes on the life of a real estate development project using Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Gayle has also taught courses on financial statement analysis and best practices in financial reporting on behalf of Mass Housing Partners, NeighborWorks America and Housing Partnership Network and the Massachusetts Home Funders Consortium.
Immediately prior to VOAMASS, Gayle was a part of the leadership team at Roxbury Tenants of Harvard (RTH), the owner/operator of an 1,100-unit affordable housing campus in the Mission Hill section of Boston. She also served as the chief financial officer for more than 10 years at Madison Park Development Corporation, an affordable housing developer and owner, after starting her career with the international public accounting firm of Ernst and Young. Gayle is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College.
