Anthony Joseph

Anthony has spent the majority of his career with VOAMASS, working in nearly every area of the organization prior to being promoted to Director of Residential Services in 2021. In this role, he oversees five residential programs, managing 60 staff members who serve approximately 100 clients. Anthony has created a management structure within the residential programs that has improved operations and service delivery and boosted staff retention.

Prior to leading residential services, Anthony served as the director of Massachusetts Bay Veterans Center, a VOAMASS program, creating an innovative clinical support model that allows veterans to receive holistic, trauma-informed care in a safe and comfortable setting. He has been a key player in the agency’s strategic shift to an integrated care model, training staff across the organization and presenting the model on a national level.

Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston and holds a Drug and Alcohol Counselor Certificate.
